Hey guys! So I decided to start doing some characters for my portfolio and I decided to start with Azmodan from Diablo III, I love so much this game and thought it was a good idea to prove it :) Let me know what you think! :) ***LATEST*** This is what I have so far: Reference concept: I Just used it as a basic reference…
Hey, so awhile back in the WAYWO thread I posted some shots of a truck model I did based off of a concept gauss posted awhile ago. I've began to texture it and thought I'd post an early whip. So far I've done a light and heavy shadow pass, an early markings pass, light dirt pass, and an edge pass. No detailing or anything…
Hi! I'd love to ask your thoughts on my WIP thus far so I can improve! <3 It'd be awesome to retopo and make him ready for games in the end. Thanks! Kelly https://kellyjohnson3dart.artstation.com/
So a week ago I had a 'little' accident (my SSD caught on fire), and my Asus GTX 970 got damaged in process by the fire. One of the fans have one of the (wings? fan?) damaged by the heat and is now bent, and I want to get it replaced. I believe that it's only the fan that has been damaged, as the end is mainly heatsink.…
MOST RECENT UPDATE: Hey guys. So, Halo 4 is out. Holy crap what a beautiful game. As a result, I have taken it upon myself to try my hand at modelling some armor. So far I have my concept done and have started in on the modelling. I've already noted that my side profile is off, and I'm hoping I can just compensate in the…
Hi all, thanks for stopping by my thread. It's been a while... I normally would just post this in my sketchbook, but I've decided to put this here to get some useful comments and critiques. I'm using a concept by Victor Lee. I've got a decent start so far, but still have a ways to go. The rock ruins are nearly done, I may…

I did some reading and experimented a bit with baking at 2x resolution and then downscaling and normalizing the normals. The results are definitely much better now. See…
the saturation is way too strong, if you tone it down , the gradient becomes a lot better and it gets a more russian army green look gradients are best if theyre subtle , the one you have right now is waay too strong : P good progress so far, no fan of those shoe metal things tho : P
Ha, neat choices here fun looking little project. I hope it takes off well & its completed, rooting over here for ya. It is nice to see something i collected also once upon a time, if you want some pix for references (only if you can't find any) i got the comix still laying around here in a box in my closet, some cards…
