Does anyone have any good links on creating a tileable animated water texture in maya? the end product needs to be useable on a mobile platform, so something that can be exported as an image sequence would be best. Most information i can find only yields water caustics, i need something more like a flowing stream
Hi guys. I'm having a bit of trouble with animating these characters for a game I'm working on. I opened these files for the first time in months and for some reason the values for my Ik/control points in Maya's channel box all have blue beside them to indicate they're constrained. They weren't like this before and I…

You'd literally override a function called TakeDamage and just have it to modify health without calling any animations or anything...but if you're not familiar with scripting it's got a bit of a setup…

Hi! I’m an artist working on a 2D mobile platformer Unity game, and recently created a jumping sprite sheet of 6 frames, meant to be run in 12 fps. The programmer in the team sent feedback that the sprite sheet was not smooth, and should be meant to run in 30 fps (mobile) or 60 fps (PC). I’ve never heard of sprite sheet…
So, how I usually go about it is I`ll animate a box going through space. It helps me focus on the timing. I do a bit of rotation in the box, just to show motives, but its a box. so there really isnt much to it. I`ll usually do the translation first, then the rotation.…
