- Gallows: Yeah, and I'm also planning on adding a very simple cockpit - Xoliul: It's actually a different part called a slat, which can move up and down, that's why I modelled it apart from the rest of the wing. The wobbliness is probably due to the raytrace material. Small update + isolines: -

changed the head a bit now that its in zbrush, moved parts around etc and added some basic hair onto the scalp for some better definition and to get a better feel for the overall appearance. Still need to sort the folds on the pants and add some detailing to the boots aswell as the skin. -

This has got to be one of the coolest public art exhibits I have ever seen. The tongue was the creepiest part. They really nailed the eyes though ... the way they darted around like real eyes do. None of that staring at one spot blankly thing really made it feel alive. -

Why not use the wasted space to map other pieces? Move those pants down a bit, and there's tons of room to map other parts of the model. But to answer your question directly, yes, I tend to try to avoid distortion rather than use every ounce of space on the map. -
3rd party normals prgrograms vs....
Ive noticed in recent prodjects the baked normals given to me by Xnormal are more favorable than 3ds max the bigger package. the normals just with max seem to be "dirtier" than Xnormal, although it can still handle some tasks effectively. is this because I used cages in max and Xnormal, as far as I can see, does'nt use… -

I'm mostly like your stylization work, except folds on lower part of the shirt(pants look's much better), also belt attachments look to much symmetrical and uniform, it's spoiling overall cartoonist impression, but maybe it just my opinion... Oh, and really great boots )), luve the shoelace ) -

This is a very good point. Even popular Blender sites like Blenderartist, Blendernation, and Blendermaterials loose money or barely break even. For the most part they operate on donations only, with the occasional add from render farms, third party render engines, and freelance Blender developers...not exactly a gold mine. -
