I'd like share with you some tutorials I've been making to answer a few questions people have been asking about modeling, texturing and baking.
It's a production focused series of tutorials exploring my workflow and pipeline involved in creating a weapon asset for a modern game engine.
Hope it helps some of you.
I have described my process split over multiple videos including -
Part 1 :
// Modeling the High poly asset: smoothing & topology tricks to ensure accuracy and eliminate pinching
Part 2 :
// Modeling the rest of the High poly asset: Creating the handle and screws

Thanks so much
Part 2 is now up and I got over the modeling of the high poly handle and screws. Hope you find something useful in there!

I thought I had seen this somewhere.
Just a quick note that part 3 is up and 4-5 are coming tomorrow ( sorry for the delay, I bought a new mic as the previous sound quality wasn't quite good enough )

Awesome contribution, I can't say thanks enough!
thank you very much!!
Really awesome series, I am definitely going to be watching this over and over.
However, a 5x timelapse is WAY TOO FAST to really follow what you are doing. Especially in Photoshop it gets very hard to understand in detail what you are doing. Could you maybe upload the final PSD files somewhere? Ideally, together with the MAX file of the knife?
THAT would be awesome!
Thanks a lot in advance!
