Hi, So i'm wondering what is process is for texturing a large area but instead of the texture just tiling which is obvious and noticeable over a large distance can I add some sort of randomisation to make it seem more natural? Any help with achieving this would be much appreciated. Thanks
Hey, could you guys critique my scratches and metal texture? One of my first tries really. I used racer's brushes and followed his tutorial on creating metal textures. For right now please ignore the fake lighting thats making it look like a soft bevel.

so i import a texture and even though I have un instanced it , on import Blener keeps on renaming it as BAKER when it should be called MELON_Quarter_DIFF.png I can manually rename it , but when I reimport, it changes the name again Any ideas? This is a real pain in the bot
