@battlecow That comes out to about $60 per hour, which is stupidly high for a beginning freelancer. From my previous research on the topic, what seems like a pretty standard rate is $30 per hour, which imo is quite good if you have regular work. Of course everything is variable depending on your cost of living.
The eyes are nice and I like the small wrinkles around them. The Mouth looks kinda flat especially his mouth corners. The Beard looks to transparend, would be nice to see your textures. Material wise I cant really see a difference between the fabric and leather parts because the roughness values are almost identical. The…
The challenge is that even if we as devs/artists see the games we've worked on as art, or its content to be artistic at the end we have no ownership of it and for the end user, this is a product they are purchasing. Its why I added, what the audience feels about it. You can assess what the audience wants through an…
Hope ya don't mind, I threw a few quick lines in to point out some things. So... If this is 2-point, you need to figure out your second point. The 1st point is almost spot on, the bottom of the window doesn't line up perfectly, but it's close enough and the headboard and the top window-sill line lines up fine to the point…
To the artists who have achieved this. I've been learning Blender on my own for almost two years through paid and free tutorials. This past year, I've landed my first two paid 3D jobs: one related to architecture and the other to music—a 3D object with a real-world shot in a music video. I feel like I'm halfway there,…
Wall of text feedback: Draw more from life and references. This isn't to say that you shouldn't draw what you like, but it will help you draw what you like better. It seems like you're trying to draw these poses from your imagination, but are lacking the experience to do it sufficiently. If you can look at your work…
Holly Molly ! I did'nt expect anyone to still use this script and even more that it works for them. What 3ds Max version are you using it ERic ? BTW, i know it has a ton of problems with newer Max versions. I have some fixed internally . If there's really still a interest i would'nt mind brushing the dust off a bit for…
I made this model so that I would have something to follow along with Konrad Hetko's face rigging tutorial---I've always really wanted to use wrinkle maps for character expressions, especially because it seems like a somewhat esoteric technique that isn't nearly as well documented as, say, modeling donuts. 😅 I know that…
Hey everyone, I've been working on this for the past few days as practice, and it's definitely been some hard work for me Crits are really appreciated! I'd like to see if anyone can guess who it is before I say anything, just for fun: I also need to say thanks to Sean (n30g3n3s1s) and b1ll; Sean is always willing to help…
