how to get what attribute is selected in channel box on right
Hi I want to build my own toggle switch for lock selected and key slected or unlock , to do that i just simply want to click a button to toggle in shelf so that if i select any attribute of the object i should be able to lock or unlock just with a click rather than doing right cliock and lock selected..please help... -
What tricks do you do to get realistic color from height map?
I do usual stuff . "pick gradient" from photos or just 2-3 colors over some noise. It's all the same , just rare lack when it looks ok . How much History do you have on the object? Try deleting the History then Extrude. When it crashes, Maya is attempting to save the file in that directory. Sometimes you get lucky and are able to reopen that file without any errors. -
3ds Max freeform tool often get crashed

Getting good looking textures on large uv mapped surfaces
