"NOTE: Mask must be cleared in order to DynaMesh" is slowly becoming the bane of my existence. However much I try to clear a mask this message keeps popping up preventing the DynaMesh process. The weird thing is that if I try to split the masked area off it complains that "Mesh must be partially masked before executing…
Your Dynamesh resolution is based on the size of your object. Try appending one of ZBrush's primitives to your subtools and see how the size of your model compares (Dynamesh 128 on a Cube3d is about 100K points). Chances are if you are getting really low point counts after dynameshing, your model's scale is too small.
So...you're combining all of your subtools into a single dynamesh, then projecting from the original sub tools to the new combined dynamesh, and then you're projecting again onto a polygonal mesh? I would... (in a duplicate tool to keep your original subtools) merge visible -> dynamesh at high resolution -> duplicate…
Hopefully someone can help me with this, I started with a displacement map on a plane, and got a base texture. From there I masked out a few stones and pulled them out. As you can see there is intense stretching, so I figured dynamesh would be great for re-distributing the polys, but as you can see my result is less than…
so i was playing with groups loops and panel loops when i noticed this strange occurance : how does a nice set of polygroups like this : turn into this ? trying to use dynamesh with its groups functionality to maintain the polygroups
Hi I'm from Brazil I started using zbrush recently, and using dynamesh I came across this error at (unfreeze subdivision levels) it gets with crystals in places that were not for this one. (Translation made by google translator)
