U paint works fine on my new pc at work! Woot! So move over texture skinners here I come. 2005 should be a great year for me to do a few UT skins, as I understand it, UT2003 default model skins will still work fine in 2004. See you Guys. f.
Finally finished this axe from an old noob challenge. This is the first hand painted texture I have ever done and couldn't really find any tutorials so just had a crack at it. Feedback will be greatly appreciated so I can improve my skills and put it in my feedback journal for my uni assessment :)
Hello, I want to learn to make hand painted textures, but i find it really hard. I have started with a piece of wood, and after a lot of tries I have something that I think looks like wood, but I would really like to know how I can improve this or any critiques for that matter.

In my shader, I'm trying to use vertex offset when I mesh paint but I can't seem to get my vertices to recede; only protrude. Could be worth noting that I'm using UDK July 2012
