Hi. One thing i have been wondering about lately is if there is any way to sculpt texture sizes such as 2048x1024 in Zbrush. As curve mode only seems to support 1x1 and nothing like 1x2 it's something i can't seem to crack. There must be some other way but i don't know of any. Any tips?
Hey Polycount, I'm doing a stylised Joker head sculpt from Arkham City, in the style of Dishonored 2. Here's my progress so far, using fibermesh to create the hair. Before adding any other details, such as wrinkles, is there anything that I could improve on at this stage to fit the art style better? All feedback is welcome
I modelled a beastie from a cool maquette photo someone gave me- problem is it doesnt have the artists name on it. So- wrack your brains everyone, who sculpted 'THE KLUX'? Its a tall purplish humanoid with an organic klux hood as a face, a huge axe and long legs- one massive brown shoulderplate. Dave

Hi Im about to by myself a new awsum computa. I'm wondering if it's worth getting the 5830k over the 5820k. I'm mostly high-poly modeling/sculpting, and i game a lot but that's besides the point. Any opinion would be gr8.
Great write up :) I use this a lot with likeness sculpts recently. It's actually called Chiaroscuro and is traditionally used by painters and sculptors. If you want to delve deeper, this book is really good for looking at it in application…
Let's say I have attached 500 joints on ncloth output mesh vertex. Then I bake ncloth simulation to joints but now I want to tweak this 500 joints. Is there anyway to manipulate this multiple joints at the same time? like making those 500 joint behave like mesh vetex and sculpt it?
Hi. I've recently was having a conversation with a friend who is a professional in the area and he hinted that reference planes are somehow a crutch when it comes to sculpting likeness. What do you think? Should we use reference planes until we get confortable enough to try to likeness just by looking at the model?
