Hey guys i have RGBA texture broken down into 4 Grayscale images saved into a single tga file. Im using the texture in a material and breaking it down into the 4 grayscale images. the problem is that when the texture is compressed by unreal the RGB values are blurring into each other and i have no idea why. No worries, it's not always easy to understand how they work. Normal maps are the angle a surface is on, so you can work out the normal using the height but the normal doesn't include the height.
