This scene is good! A couple of things though the concrete looks really blurry and out of scale. *Edit* Beaten to the punch here :P Also I don't think the wooden stuff fits? The whole scene looks quite modern but the wooden stuff looks a fantasy? It looks good though!
Bad idea to use that watermark on your texture. Try something more sudtle, which actually let's you see the textures. Also, this doesn't really look like a warhammer scene (haven't played the mmo, so I might be wrong), but more like a generic medieval scene.
Basically just wanting to improve my low poly texturing skills over the next week or so. I have been making little scenes and props to practice. Ill chronicle this one here, maybe get some texturing tips wen I get there. So far just finished the model: 300 tris, will aim for 128 or 256 texture, Uving now
Im slowly recreating famous movie scenes that I am Familiar with to get more comfortable in blender, substance , unity . Ill keep updating this as I go pretty happy with it so far Always open to critiques and hints or tips (I am not going for a 1-1 )
Is there a maximum number of lights possible in a marmoset scene? I am asking as I have 31 lights. If i try to add one more spot, it doesn't behave correctly and remain within its limits? If i delete one and then put a new one in, it works as expected.
thanks, hmm. Ill have to take a look at it. I posed him in the scene I want and I'm working on the general feel of the scene and layout. Here is an update. After I've posed him ill go back and work on the anatomy for the sitting pose and make sure everything is where it's supposed to be.
Hey! I've been doing lots of 2D work recently, a painting a day, but I decided I would also like to start a 3D project, so an idea came to me at work on Friday. And here I am! Sooner than I expected.... The big different with this project is I am going to record everything I do with it into Youtube videos documenting my…
Hello, This is a scene that I've been working on the past week. Inspiration is obviously the UE5 demo. It is meant to showcase my pseudo GI solution. I know this is the 3d art sub-forum so i wont go into details about that. So, nothing fancy, just a heavy use of megascans assets (>90%). I started by importing the assets…
Hi, I'm trying to render out the final scene of a very long project you might have seen in pimping and previews or around the net: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-Qlz2631Ic[/ame] My system is rebooting without any warnings while rendering the scene, sometimes it will manage 2 or 3 finished frames before shutting…
Been working on this simple little portfolio scene for a week now. Still not happy with the leaves and tree trunks, so I might repaint or play with the colors a bit more. Thanks for looking!
