Pirate Treasure Scene - LP Hand Painted

Been working on this simple little portfolio scene for a week now. Still not happy with the leaves and tree trunks, so I might repaint or play with the colors a bit more. Thanks for looking!

Repainted the leaves and updated some colors:

Nice job! The updated trunks look great. I also think the sand texture you used for the ground looks fantastic

Something that might help the leaves is a bit more hue variation. Maybe just lightly painting in some warmer and cooler colors would really help give them a sense of life. Think about splashes of blue greens or yellow greens like in the images below.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I havent decided if Im going to directly paint in that warm light or just have a warmer light sitting above them yet

Added some warmer colors and some dying leaves beneath. Also added an eye patch

Hey, Its looking good Alex. I'm really liking your sculpt. Especially the way you sculpted your wood, very appealing. It certainly looks even better with those reworked colours but I think It would be worthwile to keep experimenting with colours. I think an image is worth a thousand words so I'm just gonna link it, perhaps it inspires you to vary your hue a little bit more and see if it works better or not. https://pl.pinterest.com/pin/473159504591079487/  Oh and a quick question, did you sculpt your stone in Zbrush too? just curious

Thanks man. I changed some of the colors based on that link you sent. And yeah I sculpted everything except for the trees, sand, and a few of the smaller things.
