I have seen this on several job postings from different companies for full-time positions. Considering these postings are full-time, how exactly is your work schedule flexible? Does that mean you can come in anywhere from 7am to 10am and leave after the respectable full day of work (8 to 10 hours)? -

Anisotropy for horse hide?
Looking for examples of anisotropy maps for complex surfaces, like the kind of shine across a black horse in the sun, how the specular bends across its back. I suspect a flow map would work fine for this, depending on the renderer. I've done a bunch of searches, can't seem to find any examples though. -
3d Mouse, Worth it?
So, I have been eyeing a 3d mouse for a while and they are just starting to write drivers for sculpting programs like zBrush and mudbox. I want to ask you guys what your experience is with 3d mice like say, 3DConnexion's Space Navigator. Worth it, or gimmicky and useless? Also, can you use them to fly a chopper in BF3... -
