[Maya 2020.4] Bevel tool making random edge detached
Hello, I'm having this issue on some meshes when I apply bevel to the hard edges, sometimes a random edge gets detached from the mesh for no reason, after exploring the options in the tool I've found out that if I change "Mitering" to "None" the issue stops, however the bevel result is not good. Does anyone have this… -
Maya - Uneven Bevels
Hey guys, I was just wondering if there was a way to get even edge rings when beveling in maya. To clarify, is it possibly to bevel edges to re-enforce them for smoothing and have the edges parallel to the corresponding main edge? Here is a screenshot of the issue. -
Maya Bevel problem
Hey when I try to bevel an edge it's selecting and showing edges what it shouldn't do anyone know why? I'm afraid that I'm going to ruin my mesh if i ignore it now. The second picture shows what happens immediately after I hit bevel. -

Maya Bevel Edge?!
Hi guys, could do with some help here. I'm wondering if there's a way to bevel edges from inside to out?! Heres an image of what I mean. Instead of smoothing them as in "rounding off" the canister has a kind of groove cut into it. Is there a specifc too in maya to create this? I've tried to bevel edges with a - value but… -
The proper way to bevel? (On a cylinder)
