Ok this is a question for character art people. Do you guys typically sculpt your mouth closed or open. If open do you leave it open for re topology and do you close it back up between programs?
Found the solution, though if files are moved and the projects become unusable. The solution if anyone comes across this renaming or moving files around (for whatever reason) is to. Open the scene file in word and go through each of the folders to find the missing texture map+location.I renamed my AO and forgot to reload it…
I think its opening but its opening off the monitor. Close max and open it again but don't load a scene. Instead open the render to texture window (0 is the hot key) and press and hold the windows key and tap the left arrow a few times.
Hi, I have recieved a file that I can´t open. The file format is .dwgddsxml I´ve tried to open it in 3ds Max, in autocad and tried to unpack the file but it doesn´t work. I´ve also tried to just change the name on the file but it doesn´t work either. I need it as a .dwg file.
Happy Birthday, just feels like yesterday opening up this amazing forum and feel like home :) http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Polycount:About#:~:text=TNSLB-,History,2%20plug%2Din%20player%20models.
I have finished a character in Zbrush but now I want to sculpt it with his mouth open with 3D layer, the problem is when I open the mouth with the move brush, the polygon are stretch. How can I have my character open his mouth without having this problem and without losing any details from the head ? Thanks for the answer
Trying to get into sculpting shit some more. Seen some sculpts with the eyelids closed, and a lot with the lids open. Is there any particular reason for doing them open/closed, or does it just boil down to personal preference? What are the pros and cons?
I just installed substance and as soon as I want to open a model or a sample, I'm blocked by a blank open window. Not sure if I'm the only one with this bug, I've reinstalled it and the same issue comes up. Please help!
