Can´t open a file, help me.

Hi,

I have recieved a file that I can´t open. The file format is .dwgddsxml

I´ve tried to open it in 3ds Max, in autocad and tried to unpack the file but it doesn´t work. I´ve also tried to just change the name on the file but it doesn´t work either. 

I need it as a .dwg file.

I deleted your duplicate Topic in General Discussion, since Technical Talk is the right place for this.

It looks like three extensions shoved together… DWG, DDS (a texture format), and XML (a text file). 

Have you tried renaming it to DWG and importing that? It could also be a ZIP or RAR archive file.

if you didn't already, yes i read you renamed the extension but did you try xml i get the feeling it is that, it also sounds like a bad idea, if you do not know the party sending you said file, irl.  All the best with it report back, I'd be interested to seeing what the results of this are.
