So I was wondering; is it best to get an email that has your name or something more formal when emailing out your resume? currently my email is using either the name rageunleashed or chunkygibber, but would that cause employers within a game company to not take my emails as seriously? What have those of you who've gotten…
I have this train car model that i am done modeling both my high and low polys. After several unwrap tests and baking failures I am coming here to get some help. I originally wanted to do a 2k texture but now it seems like I might have to do a 4k texture or 2k for the bigger stuff and a 1k for the smaller stuff? Any help…
Thanks. What hardware & browser are you using? I looked into why the older DMs are missing. You can get to them if you click on the tiny "Older Messages" at upper left just above the first message. Then at the bottom left there's a tiny "Newer Messages" to get back to the most recent messages.

The problem is: How many…

I have not modeled much this year. I am trying to change that so I don't end up a zbrush hobbyist. I was wondering if I am going about this correctly for the supporting edges. In the corner I am getting this weird pinching it seems.
I know this is a gaming site but I wanted to ask about realistic renders. From what I understand the polycount is usually very high but I wanted to find out for example if u sculpt details and peels and rough surfaces on a table or cupboard. To get the best results,is it best to import the high poly mesh into 3dsmax to…
So I'm gona get a new laptop soon. I just don't know what. I'll be working with 3dsmax and photoshop and hopefully will learn zbrush. I haven't studied the market like I used to when I got my current computer, so I'm asking for your help. Graphics card will be important ofc, specially since you can't change it. Anyway,…
