Cool stuff rooster. I agree with aesir, might wanna check the joints (especially elbows here) to make sure they don't lose too much shape and integrity when they deform. The character is very cool though, I like how you can only see his eyes and nose... makes him look slightly shy. I think 3 fingers on the hands works…
Thanks @JosephIV! When you say model the showcase you mean like a platform or a "ground" for the bakery to be on? I can see the style conflict that you mean. I guess the clash between the sylized model and the Nestle texture. Maybe if I were to hand-paint it instead of using the current texture it would fit better.
OK SO! New project! I really want to practice some realism after a couple of finished stylised projects. I want to buff up on my marvellous designer knowledge, realistic skin rendering and hair card placement. I thought Sypha would be a great project since asides from the fact that she is absolutely a badass, she has a…
A full character and environment set for use in a real time game engine, rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Created this as fan art for the MMORPG FlyFF Mage Character, with the intention of setting it with AAA stylised visuals. High Poly Character and Environment models created in Zbrush and 3Dsmax. Textures created in…
Hey! Very nice work here so far. One little nick pick here. While looking at your character I felt like (if you don't look at the chest) she looked a little bit too young. Almost like she would be 16 or something. Proportions wise I just checked and she is about 7 head tall. Average is usually around 7.5 and often 8 for…
It'd be nice to see something totally original and trend setting, that also fits the brief of the film. To be copied would be flattering, than to copy and look the same as everyone else. I guess until you see Robocop on screen doing some shooting it'll be hard to judge the end result. I just hope that they go for stark…
3dcoat sounds like it would achieve what you want. I do most of my texturing in there, PBR or stylised, and it's just so much more pleasant to work in 3d. You can also use photo-sources and stamp them onto the mesh, deform them... But if what you want to do something more than rework existing assets (and work within those…
images- you can see more than one at a time, if the prospective employer is put off by anything in the first they can see that there are others awaiting. it may not be the quality of work they are particulaly interested in, for example a someone making stylised envs may not be bothered looking at lots of photoreal envs for…
Hi everyone! ♥ I'm new to polycount, I want to improve my art in general. I feel like posting it here and getting feedback would be a great start. I feel a bit scared of showing my work as it's nowhere near as amazing as all of the other posts, but I guess everyone starts somewhere! This is one of the two characters that…
Hi guys, We're a small team currently in development of a top-down team-based combat game. With combat fluidity being a core concept, we are looking for a skilled animator to come on board for our 8 character's locomotion and ability pools. Our rigged models will be used and we will supply direction through reference pose…
