Hello, im focused on learning modeling and hand painted texturing, this was done in blender, a couple shots were rendered in marmoset. If anyone has a critique to share or any ideas on how to push this further, that would be awesome :) Diffuse only texture (1024px), unlit material. Basic rigging with mixamo.com
Diving straight into another Blender/BPainter project creating what I imagine the Doomslayer would look like in the style something like World of Warcraft including giant shoulderpads!
I am making a bolt action rifle in blender for a UDK project and I can't figure out how to get the scope's lens to be tinted and reflective at the same time. Whenever I make a change to the material it doesn't seem to affect the lens in the render. Is there a checkbox for rendering reflective surfaces or am I just missing…
I watched this tree tutorial, set up my leaves with the correct orientation and I noticed the phase parameters moves the leaves in the wrong axis compared to the one in the video. Was this changed in newer versions of Blender or a bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GKes2FYy0E The part at around 9:15. Thanks.
I'm trying to do a curve however I can't get the geometry to follow the curve properly! I'm really stuck at this point, I have no clue what's going wrong. I'm still new to blender and can't find a fix on google or youtube!

Been getting up to speed with Blender having been a long time Maya user, now my brain is frying over a seemingly simple problem. These two trees have the same material, and are both flat shaded, they're also on the same layer. Why the heck do the seem to have different colour tones/lighting on the trunk?
Hi there! Here’s a music video created by the Dutch studio for animation & design: Annie Made It. I created the music and they provided the video. I’m very curious what you think of the 3D animation in this movie made with Blender?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbCAG7-UZPo Chrs! Martijn van der Zande Thumbnail
Unwrapping with Smart UV Project gives me nice packed UVs. However, I find better results for Texture Painting when there's a few pixels around each island. Unfortunately doing this manually for dozens of islands can be quite tedious and time-consuming. Is there a Blender feature/addon to do that? Thanks guys, JDL
