I can create the material but once I apply it to an object it crashes. Latest nvidia drivers. My card is a 4600. DirectX 9.0c 3DS Max6 sp1 I've been trying to use Ben Cloward's normal map shaders and his tutorials. Anyone know what the problem is?

Hi! Started working on a new scene a few days ago. Only had a few hours to work on it, but I think it's shaping up. :) Haven't started working on the foreground yet, but I'll start on that as soon as possible. A guy I've been trying to finish up between moving and working. I should finish his bow and quiver soon and will do renders with each of his capes.For some reason the turn around render always looks fuzzy to me, esp in his face. I've never had that issue b4. {edit} top image is no longer fuzzy
