Hey all, Scratching my head over this and hoping peeps can help. I am projecting a Perlin Noise texture to a cup. If I use a triplanar projection these odd lines and artifacts appear that are clearly inline with the wireframe (see images 1 & 2). The same texture using UV projection works fine (see image 3). In fact,…
I didnt know how to exactly ask this, so I posted, I apologize if question has been solved but I want to know what the professionals might look for. So I find it that the plane to the left creates more polys but the one to the right saves them however, if you want a nice clean wireframe view, the one to the left might be…
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/04gzvV I've been working on this character off and on for a little while now. I spent a majority of the time in UE5 trying to achieve some great look dev. Aside from the wireframes, everything was captured in UE5. Polycount for the character is 64k tris, and the gun is 5.3k tris. There…
I'm mostly done with this piece, but I'm struggling with the Tintmasks, as i had to break up the model into 3 TextureSets in painter with resulted in 3 Tintmasks coming out of the same texture on the same model which I'm not sure how to combine.

Hi, I’m currently working on a blade in order to integrate it in the game as a skin (hopefully it will be included). I layered most of the ideas and refined the details/shapes. Most of the details will come inside Substance Painter now. Any advice / suggestions before I get to the texturing ? Thanks.
Hey guys, just wanted to post what I submitted to the contest. The task was to make a weapon swap based on a few weapon selections. I chose to remake the Orthos, which is a dual bladed staff. If you like it please vote here. Please and thank you!

Hello! For some time after baking from low poly to low poly I've been facing some dashed lines on my model. They are quite prominent on ao and curvature maps; however, there are some artifacts on the normal map too. UVs and wireframe seem to be okay, so I don't get why it's happening. Here are some screenshots.
