Are the shapes radically different? Transfer Attributes can (sometimes) get you closer to what you need across different shapes. Without seeing what you've got going on, I might suggest Based on Camera, then snapping all the lower border uverts to each other, then to the grid, and try a UV Unwrap on the remainder.
