In the first image the blue plane I drew was what I drew to represent what they were standing on. It is not the horizon line. All the horizon line is is where the sky meets the ground. I guess it could be tilted depending on what you are drawing. -
Maya - Cant select anything with Quad draw
Hey, I'm having a weird and frustrating problem with Quaddraw in Maya. I've got a decimated zbrush shirt that I'm retopoing with quaddraw. [soap box time] When you're working to build up your art skill you shouldn't draw what you're good at you should draw whatever your 'weak spot' is. I don't think just drawing a lot is all you should be thinking about--you should also be thinking about WHAT you're drawing, and exploring all kinds of things to draw, and techinques, and so on. [3DSMAX] Snap to grid problem (And ornatrix draw strands)
Splines snap to the grid, but grid snapping is off. This is an example of Ornatrix. It should draw the spline in screenspace. That is because the points you are laying are hitting right on the surface. So if there is any curvature to your mesh the line being drawn between them is literally going through the mesh.
