Hi, Can anybody recommend any good 3D modelling software that is fairly inexpensive (or even free?) Preferably something similar in style, modelling wise, to Maya or 3Dmax? Cheers.
It's fine . Normal map bevels over sharp edges never going to be 100% perfect. Could be better only with rounding in geometry. 3dmax never rendered things right in its view ports .
its actually pretty hard, as the only tool that can export to the game's vehicle format is zmodeler 2, and most 3dmax users find this app really dull and boring. there is no way to import your vehicle easily from 3dmax to zmodeler too, as there is no OBJ import or anything like that. :thumbdown: The car is looking awesome,…

I think I pressed a hotkey while messing around and now whenever I put an Unwrap UVW modifer on anything and select faces, it's triangulating my faces.. how do I turn this off?
