I would agree on the ease of a general retopo on the organic shapes, but what about the ear and the hair portion on the back under the hat? What would it take in zbrush to keep those points nice and sharp? Is there a way to get zbrush to do the work automatically with the new Zremesher 2.0 and the corresponding brush to…
I'd delete the portion where the twist error is. If the geometry lines up perfectly with the straight grooves then you can bridge the two parts together (use the curvebridge brush, zmodeler brush, or do it externally). If they don't line up, I'd probably delete the entire top half and then extrude the edge of the twist…
Hey guys, i'm having some problems with import/export between Zbrush and max, here's what i did: -Exported base mesh from max, without texture coordinates -Sculpted up to level 4 -Exported lowest level back to max - i'm keeping it as editable mesh to keep vert order -Created new uv's -Tweaked some of the volume on the…
Hello, I am currently sculpting a handgun in z brush to get a feel for hard surface modeling inside of the program, as well as get a feel for the brushes that come with it. Critiques are welcomed and appreciated. This is what i have so far:
Hello , how can I do to avoid deforming borders when applying modifications oan a mesh that has a open side? Ofted with Zbrush when I apply alphas or inflate or other brushes the borders get modified, I would like to preserve those in order to not change the general borders of the basic first level model.
I have had a weird problem with goz lately, particularly with GOB, the plugin for blender that allows the goz link with blender. The issue is duplication of meshes when exporting from blender to zbrush, rather then a re-projection of details. This happens even if I do absolutely nothing to the model in blender. People on…
After you've defined a wrinkle with dam standard brush, try a little inflate brush on either side to give it some volume. That'll help avoid the "scratches in wax" look you see a lot in zbrush busts.
Hello , I don't know how to explain the problem I am having so I am uploading a file that hopefully you guys can check and see what's wrong ... It's a simple beast skull I was working on but all of a sudden dunno what's happened but I cant brush anymore on it like if it was masked .... is not masked , I tought to a problem…
Originally I started with Zbrush 4R6 since 2014, and updated to 2019 when I bought the licence. The workflow to use it was the same as before. Haven't updated it since 2019. I also find it a bit cumbersome to update. To be honest, I'm still using a fraction of Zbrush' capabilities. Basically I'm just sculpting only organic…
