hmm my system is pretty old, but I've never had this issue before. The error disappears if I minimize and maximize the window. Though it's often enough to be a little annoying. Only glitching out with Directx. Not with a software or opengl driver. I prefer Directx for the viewport speed. Any ideas?
Max (2018) has a feature where the speed of the pan/zoom is context sensitive to what the mouse cursor is hovering over. It drives me nuts but can't find any options on it. I swear it wasn't a thing in earlier versions. Any ideas?
anyone got a handle on the workflow for this. I used surface tools years ago. suppose ideally it would good to do a low poly head , convert to patch object and tweak from there, but you get tri patches when you do this.
Hey all, ive made a level but i need to use a heightmap, and i was looking through max's render to texture and i see that 'heightmap' is an option. how do i get it to work? everytime i tried it just renders solid black?
not sure if im the only one with that problem but when i right click the manu is buggy unvisable unless i run my mouse overit real fast and guess when i need to click very annoying is there a fix for that? :(
Any idea why this hotkey doesn't work? I can set Connect, but when working with edges I constantly use the dialog box. This hotkey doesn't appear to actually bring up the dialog box. Any ideas?
Hello guys is there any way to disable the switching between uniform and non uniform scale in max? because non uniform causes a lot of trouble in terms of X form and i don't understand its purpose. Thank you :)
Hello does anybody knows if there is a modifier that allows to inflate a mesh along it's normals ? ... I mean if I take a mesh and I duplicate , like if I want to make a suit over a body I need to slightly inflate the duplicate along thevertex normals to avoid clipping and preserve skin ... Is that possible?
