"Autodesk researchers say they have cloned a monkey by splitting an early-stage embryo and implanting the pieces into mother animals. The technique, detailed in Friday's issue of the Autodesk Newsletter, has so far produced only one living monkey, a bright-eyed rhesus macaque female named Tetra, now 4 months old. Carol Bartz, president of Autodesk said four more animals are on the way."

Bah, I just came back in this thread to see I've been duped! Hehe, pretty funny though. And you would have thought those credit cards would have taught me to read the fine print!
After using both Maya and Max in gaming production, I have to say they both have benefits and pitfalls. We could have a pissing contest all day, but it's safe to say knowing both packages is better than strictly sidelining one way or the other.

Agreed, I've been using quite a bit of Maya lately. I have found it's UV tools and customability to be pretty impressive.

Nah, personally I would describe Maya more as a "retarded, crippled child" than a "brutal piece of trash."
