3dsmax [Redraw error]

hmm my system is pretty old, but I've never had this issue before. The error disappears if I minimize and maximize the window. Though it's often enough to be a little annoying.
Only glitching out with Directx. Not with a software or opengl driver. I prefer Directx for the viewport speed.

Any ideas?

Have you updated your graphics card driver?

Also you should play around with the settings in here, especially Window Updates.

I'm updating this thread incase anyone happens to come across this same problem.
Even after fiddling with the graphics card driver, reinstalling, regediting my old directx versions, etc... the problem still persisted

Finally, I discovered the problem came down to Microsofts IntelliPoint F*@#ing software.
I uninstalled it and have since had no problems.
