3dsMax 2008 - Connect (With DialogBox)

Any idea why this hotkey doesn't work? I can set Connect, but when working with edges I constantly use the dialog box. This hotkey doesn't appear to actually bring up the dialog box.

Any ideas?

get haywoodtools: http://www.jhaywood.com/maxScripts.htm
and bind the "custom connect" tool to your connect hotkey. You'll never need a dialog box again !

description of quick connect:
"Connects either verts or edges depending on which mode you're in. When in edge mode, use it repeatedly within a second from the last usage to increase the number of segments. So when you run it the first time you get one connecting edge, run it again within a second and you get two, and so on."
