In 3dsmax 2k8 and higher there is hardly a need for helper pivot "objects" instead check out the "Working Pivot". Having an alternate pivot point thats only a keystroke away is a bit faster then setting up helpers. I always have trouble with uving with good texel density so how do i map uv of different object with correct texel density without combining them i know when i combine them and unfold the TD will be correct but if i unfold them without combining the TD is bad i want seperate objects to bake normal map

Dear Polycount members (first post here) im having issues with making new UV sets in 3D coat all my UVWs ( all objects are pre unwrapped in 3Ds max) are on top of one another so its very hard to pick them to apart any other ways? is there a way to pick objects uvws by clickng onthem? thanks in advance David T.
