hi guys long time ago i made a concept for a near future / scifi rifle and a few days ago i started with the highpoly in zbrush. i want to show you my progress and i think i will need some help cause im not a expert for rifles but i hope you like it so far.
I did this in a little under a week of working. It's about 10k polygons and a slew of texture map thingys. Basic Maya render, no Mental Ray (is that Mental Ray or mental ray?). It's supposed to be an underground alleyway with a bit of a scifi or a few years in the future but still old bits feeling (whatever that's called).…
Hi, this is probably the dumbest question I've ever asked on a forum but here it goes. It seems we had 8-bit, 12-bit/14-bit (DSLR RAW images) and 32-bit floating EXR images....but is there any reason to see anything else beyond this? Is it tecnically or inevitable that there will be 64bit images in the future? Just…
Hi everyone, this is my first thread on here, I'm currently making a harbor town environment in UDK. The general idea is that it is an old town slowly being dragged into the future. I've taken a little inspiration from the Unreal Samaritan demo. Any comments/feedback would be much appreciated! Thank you to Al Hasan for the…
Hello! First of all i want to say Hello to everyone, it's my first topic here. I've finished my Truck project few days ago, and i want to share it with you. It would be great if i could get some tips and criticism for the future. Textures 4k made in Substance Painter and Designer. Rendered in iRay.
The future is coming along great boys. https://img-9gag-fun.9cache.com/photo/a47vMep_460svvp9.webm There was also this video feature that was shown months ago about actually scanning live action MOIVING scenes into a complete 3D scenes. I really wonder how far and fast this will develop in the next couple of years.
for the first time ever, i've just noticed the max Lattice modifier. How good is that? I've manually built shit loads of cages in the past ... probably never have call ever to use it in the future, but it's nice to know it's there ... how many more of these things are hiding from us manual-shy types?
Yo guys just wanted to share a level I made about a year ago in udk. I was testing the waters with this one and after looking at it over and over again I learned what not to do in the future. Will gladly take any tips and feedback as well so dont be shy >w>' [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhScJUZXIro[/ame]
here're few things I did for that game. Feel free to crit; while the game has shipped I'm sure I can use advice for future reference. this one was done at the publisher's request, but I don't think it got much use except on one page on the website. couple of enemy animations Spider Tank Enemy Grunt
Here's something I've been doing for a mechanical modelling assignment, should eventually have it shoved into UT3 in the near future. As of now this is just the basic high-poly model as it stands. C&C welcome ofc. I'll add in the seams via zbrush once I have an optimised low-poly before baking it on methinks.
