An older image: The grass is a little bit lol in the bottom right-most image. Still impressive, though. I think it's the lighting they use that makes the most difference - It's looks so natural.
try www.uploadit.org for hosting forum images - the allocated bandwidth on sites like geocities gets chewed up in no time whatsoever, so only a select few get to see your images.
Is it possible to hook something up similar to an image plane that has a gradient on it so the gradient always fits the background. Basically a screen space gradient for mental ray, the environment on the camera doesn't accept maps and image plans don't seem to render.
Hey has anyone ever seen this before? This is the outcome i get when adding a texture to an object in maya 8.0. I have assignments due, and this is making it extremely difficult to get them handed in, in time. Please help me fix this problem. GB [image] [/image]

I want to use this image as a tiling texture but it has a light gradient across its surface which shows up after it's been offset. Is there a good way to correct this? Sometimes I try and use gradient layers with different blending modes but that's not really working on this particular image.
