Hey Guys, How would you do light maps for an object below. its all one object, if i do a planar from the top and relax it, then i get some swirly crappy lightmaps. if i flatten it all, then i get crappy seams at both ends which also looks crap. tried lots of different ways all result in bad lightmaps. Well, when I'm looking at the render view and nothing shows up if using Arnold. If I use the other renderers the objects will show up. Doesn't matter if its a lambert or an Arnold material. I agree, it doesn't make sense. I cannot recreate this either, it's working as expected for me. Did you rotate in edit mode or object mode and applied transformations? Which version of Blender are you using? I guess there are no modifiers on the object?! Would be best if you could share an example file.
