Hello Polycounters ! Here is an Art Test I made for ArenaNet Internship Programs : actually I've never applied because I'm still a student for a moment and i considered it as a training for character modeling/texturing based on a professional concept. So I share it with you since it's been finished some months ago.…
I have one character model and assigned a sub-multi material to it in 3Dsmax. The head, arm, and body each have a separate UV sheet. I tried baking in substance painter, xNormal... the normal looks really inconsistent between the UV seams, which I feel impossible to use some photoshop technique to fix it. I am certain that…

From the video I posted this might look just like an After Effects plugin effect. But since my camera is always moving forward on my animation, the trails based on a post-effect will end up having a constant zoom-in effect. So I experimented a bit with Tyflow for 3Dsmax, and made everything based in geometry: And a little…
@dGreenberg Thankyou! I don't mind at all- my method is kinda a combo of different people's haha, my main way of placing the cards is pretty much the same as Georgian Avasilcutei's here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/dmR1K which is using splines in 3DSMax to place the cards and just gradually building it up in layers…

I bet your object scale is very large or very tiny, as mentioned above. Select the model > Utilities panel > Utilities rollout > Measure button. Take a screenshot, drag it into your reply…
