Hi All, Sharing a real-time render of a character I am working on. The coat is still a placeholder :) The hair are alpha cards made from zbrush curvetubes and manually placed in max. Skin albedo was authored in substance painter.
Hey Polycount, Finally getting around to starting this character that was designed by one of my favorite artists Marc Brunet. Here is my rough blockout (emphasis on rough). Hopefully I can do his concept justice at the end.
im making this character head, inspired by ultron and the ink demon from bendy and the dark revival, i wanted his mouth to close, but it would look wierd so i always kept it open, but i dont like it now and amstuck with the same style, do yuo guys have any advise? the second image is the ink demon
Good luck with your second year man. I graduated AIE nearly 10 years ago, and BY FAR the most helpful thing for me was posting on this forum. Not even exagerating. If I had to do anything different, I'd watch Zack Petroc's gnomon DVDs way sooner and do some life drawing classes. So you should definitely do those things…
