Hi guys, I'd like to dabble in hand painting textures but wondering if there's a technique to projection paint what you're doing in Maya into photoshop or something else, I know you can do this with zbrush but for the purposes of low poly painting I'm not sure if it's the right choice? Any advice? Thanks!
Hi all! I'm having a weird problem. When I hit texture from polypaint, a part from the model gets black. The uvs are ok and checked in Maya. The normals are fine as well. I don't know what it's happening. Please help me! I'm uploading a sample of the problem.

if the texture on the plane doesnt change then why does it need to be set up dynamically? surely you can just texture the plane to match the material underneath perfectly when in one position and just be static? what are you trying to use this for?
