For some reason this is not working for me? I can adjust the near clipping plane fine in the viewport but it won't show up in the render. As far as my research got this can work in Scanline. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this to work with Ray Tracing and Mental Ray in Maya 2013? Thanks.

I am trying to bake a mental ray bump shader to a normal map using maya transfer maps however I can't seem to get it to recognize the mr shader. Has anyone ever tried this? Is there a way to render a normal map using the custom shader option?
Hi guys I am importing a set of DWG blueprints which have a huge amount of different groupings that are being quite annoying for getting the scene organised. I'd like to delete all groupings so that I can start fresh. Is there a way to do this in Maya?
