Hey guys, i know this forum is primarily digital 2d/3d but i know there are some traditional animators as well. I've been asked to teach a summer traditional animation camp to kids aged 9-12 and I'm in need of some cheap or easily constructable light tables (and if possible cheap pegbars aswell)
hi guys, a small question: in max 9, always when i assign my orthographic images to a plane, the image gets really pixelerated and unsharp, even though the actual image assigned to the plane is pretty big and sharp... any idea's how this can happen and what to do about it? thanks!
Alright this is a noobish question but I've never made a texture that wasn't a square, and I wanted to try and make one that was a 1024x512. But when I changed the width and height it just stretches the texture. Like this... how do I change it to a 1024x512 without it stretching the texture? Edit: Im using Max 9
Thank you so much for the response. I learned what backface masking is and it will be really useful for me going forward. I'm also in the process of following your edits. I have to go to my 9-5 this week, but hopefully I can go back to it in the weekend.
So here it is. After a 24 hour crunch we made the deadline :) Here are some screens from the final game. Will post the game in few days. This was a 9 week project. Involving 6 studentartists and 4 studentprogrammers. Next up will be a fps-game.
The premium, I believe, is 9 dollars a month and premuim members receive a special item every month. Also premium members get gold shells instead of green shells. Gold shells are very rare for free members. Shells is the currency in GoPets.
Don't worry Mop any help is surely always welcome. Thanks to everyone on this one. Ok Ninja Edit: i see where you guys are leading me but i see no "polygon counter line" ... is this normal ? im using Max 9
3ds Max 2008 software is US$3,495*. The Autodesk suggested retail price to upgrade from 3ds Max 9 to 3ds Max 2008 is US$795*. *You still get a shitty product that is bloated with features you will never want to use.
not sure if someone has same problem, but when I export model from max 2012 in obj, in marmoset it looks like one big mess, problem can be solved by adjusting vertex precision to 9 or lower and checking normals optimise checkbox
Thank you. The next updates are: - max 9 support - next week - support for Edit Poly modifier for Easy Peel - BiRail Sweep(including 1rail loft, U loft, UV loft) that creates editable poly object from selected splines.
