Haha, I know exactly what this is and it's my 2nd favourite horror film of all time. American Werewolf in London. It's the scene where David is watching a cheesy porn film in the cinema before his dead zombie friend introduces him to some victims.
can some techi explain the advantage of normalmaps to bumpmaps? As far as I can see the only difference is the resolution and normalmaps are always more lowres then the actual image size edit: and your 2nd normalmap looks really bad, can you post the maps?
I imagine: - pushing XNA - pushing directX/360 formats - pushing new cheap Xbox 360 developers - pushing liveMaps but that´s all I can think of, mainly to push the interests in their technologies and perhaps show a little bit: "at least we are 2nd"
Messing with this still. I really want to do stuff inside the letters, but as you can tell with the 2nd shot showing what I began doing, I don’t like how it was panning out. The blank space is mainly what bothered me, but meh.
I decided to create Cheytac m200 sniper rifle. This is my 2nd time, when i trying to make it (last time i did not have time to finish it) Here are some screens from 3dsMax. I'm recording my modeling, so after i finished it i will upload move in to youtube. Cheers This is HP model

starting to think about this now! didn't the email that got sent recently about sponsorship say there would be an announcement 2nd week of jan? any speculation about themes.. does the space theme need to be changed up to fantasy this time round? I thought they would do that for the last one actually.. Go Green!

Hi ! Just a quick question I have, So I was wondering, how do you guy study from an online tutorial ? I mean like DT or Gnomon DVD, you just watch the entire lesson and then start your project, or do you work on your 2nd screen while watching it etc... ? Thanks in advance for your answer :)
