I'm attending a 3 months course and we have to have created a scene by the end. I've developed a Steampunk robot detective that is chasing someone in the back alleys of London. Or at least my interpretation of London. This is the character concept. We've also made our characters in Clay, this is basically my first ever…
Started a new project last week. Since my previous one is in the final QA phase, meaning I have room for something new. After being inspired by a trip in Spain. I just had to build something in 3D. Here is the current blockout. I will be using Zbrush to create high poly models, to the bake those down to low poly. Style…
Here is a thread where I'll constantly update on a Beach scene I'm currently working on Unreal Engine. This is a scene where I'm continually learning all of UE4's environment art arsenal, from sophisticated material creation and particle system. I still have a lot to learn and I'm looking forward for yall tip out there!!…
It's going to be difficult, and perhaps impossible. The current ongoing disaster of the U.S. political scene is also very biased against immigration, which is very unfortunate. But even if you ignore that, the traditional work visa process has always been biased towards direct experience in the specific work area. A degree…
I think you need to tonemap the scene quite a bit. The scene has some awesome detail and great colours, but I think the contrast is waaaay to flat: example The black levels in the concept are bold and for the most part progressive, whereas in the scene there is little to no blacks.
My first environment scene in Unity5. All models are modeled and textured by myself. Since this is my first ever created scene, feedback is welcome! :)

I've tried the LOD generation tool and am trying to fix this error: LogMeshLODToolset: Warning: Non-parameter texture sampler detected in input material [M_]. Output materials may have unexpected behaviour. currently also trying Render an…
I have a problem with a 3DS Max 9 scene which file size increases each time I save it. There was a script or command for older Max versions to clean the scene from garbage. But I can´t remember it. Can anybody help me?
I think the scene is dark as well, but more than that, the lighting is a bit flat, there is no strong key light in the scene to provide good shadows, also there are no highlights on most of the objects. Another thing is that the materials seem like they are all the same. the rock of the cave, should be a slightly different…
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a Watermill scene for my portfolio. There is this picture I liked a lot, so I took it as ref: It is the first time I make something in this style, but I wanted to give it a try. :) I'm going to make a small scene in UDK, but for now I only have the house/watermill model. WIP: Texturing…
