Modelling on a train, is it feasible?
Long story short, I'll be catching a train to work soon instead of driving. It's a an hour and a half each way, so though it'd be a good chance to get a laptop and do some modelling. Price of models?
I've been looking around at what people sell assets for on turbo squid, 3docean, Unity store and a few others. It seems that for the most part people are selling lowpoly assets and characters at very cheap prices. Many are 10-30 USD. Hey there. This is a nice start! It looks like you just took the low poly and smoothed it for the most part. That is ok to do for the overall shape, but you are lacking a lot of detail right now, which is what hi poly modeling is ALL about. Dont be afraid of having geometry that is just placed on top of your model...Stuff… -
