well, It's a damn solid start. I'd fix the geo in the beard(get rid of those two hug polys on either side, and slice across the whole beard a couple times) and the tabard ( looks like the arm holes where cut from a cylinder and called done. Add some reallt loops around the arms holes). Another thing to note is be sure to…
I like the barrenness of the walls, of the whole scene really. It seems to tell the story of a man who has next to nothing, and the more there is the less next to nothing he has. In some of the shots the walls do look a bit repetitive, but in others it's more obvious they're broken up.
Hey I've been recently trying to render an animation, but i have an issue with the light. Here is th eproblem. As you can see those pixels are horrible and shouldn't be there. Here are some info about my project: -There is only one light -All render options are set to default -I tried upscaling the samples, but that didnt…
TL, DR dude... When you apply a Mask modifier (during export) it deletes all vertices that were being hidden by it (whether it is the whole object or just a few vertices from it, defined by a vertex group). Don't use the mask modifier to hide the magazine. Rather, keyframe the scale of the bone that parents the magazine…
Haven't posted anything in quite a while. Took a break for a full time job, got fired and hit the ground running with 3d again. So to break the ice here's a 4 hour and change sculpt I did. Taking the TOD Class for concept macquets. Still need to composite the image but I can post that later. Anyways, cheers hope everyone…

It's generally better to embed images, than to ask people to open a link to see things. Less steps for people, and if you remove friction you…
I made this recently for a project I'm working on, depicting Venus in the year 2155. Spacewhales are sentient vessels, kept aloft by oxygen held in their hulls. They house several thousand colonists. The large white circles are domes across their hull ("barnacles") that span a couple city blocks in diameter. Here we see…
Hello. I've been working on this model of a classic GM New Look bus also known as the "Fishbowl", I intend to keep it roughly around 100k polygons for the finished model while maintaining as accurate looking proportions as I can. When the model is done (hopefully soon) I intend to make some renders of it with a heavy…
Hello, Was just curious what your guys recommendations were on jobs to make some money while working on my portfolio. Is there any entry level position in the industry that might offer some sort of experience or networking opportunity that could be useful later on when I'm ready to apply for a 3D art position at a studio?…
