Top of the mornin mates, I'm here to ask if anyone has a lowish poly (>5k polies)and fully rigged (textured/uv'd isn't necessary, but would be cool if you have one) Ninja model. Anything anime-ish looking would be respected. If you do, pm me. I think that's it, thank you! ^_^
@2300511685 Correct, the round over in the third step was added with a non-destructive bevel / chamfer modifier that uses edge weights to control the width. If edge weights aren't an option then a simple loop path could also be used to constrain the round over. There's a few different ways to approach modeling lofted…
The way I’ve done animated skyboxes is with a custom shader setup. This avoids performance problems from overdraw, makes sure skybox lighting is confined to only affecting the skybox, and generally optimizes everything. Because skyboxes can cover a significant percentage of the screen. A video here, using a custom engine.…
Hey all, This is my first post on polycount, as well as my first attempt at a realistic human model. I have been mostly working on sculpting the head for now, so any critiques and comments are greatly appreciated :) I'll be posting the body soonish, but I thought I would get as much feed back on this first. -Eric ---
Hey guys, this is my first attempt in a contest and this Tron challenge was interesting enough for me to jump on. I haven't modeled a character for almost 2 years so I wanted this to be a practice for me. I was inspired by The Rocketeer and of course Tron so this is a combination of sorts. Again this is my first entry so…
yay, finally registered in here. i just waited for the new challenge to begin. ok, i'm not good and i just started working with blender. but this is what i got by now it's not finished and i'm already over the tri's limit. but i'm learning and working :) what i want to do is something like an ice skater. here some ref's i…
Here are some quick renders of an unlockable character from Mercenaries. I had to model this guy to the same skeleton as the main characters, so you will notice some odd proportions compared to Harrison Ford but I tried to keep it as close as possible within those constraints. The textures are 512x512 for the body, 256x256…
I made a custom mouse matte, fabric style top layer and added a medium firmness sponge under layer, so its gives in to the shape of my wrist under its weight, but is still firm for the mouse to track correctly. This combo works for me so i dont need a fancy mouse, or those wierd gel lumps supports.
Hey yall.. jumpin' in a little late, but well on my way. I didn't scan in my concept yet, but I have a sketch done too.. I'm pulling most of my ref from Legacy at this point, and I would like to design a light cycle as well. Do I need to start a separate thread for that too? or should I just go for it?
