I've worked as an artist at BonusXP for the past 10 years. Sadly, BonusXP closed in June - and I have been updating my portfolio to showcase some of the work I did there. I am searching for work, and starting on a personal 3D project to help round out my portfolio. A lot of the stuff we made was for mobile or RTS-style…
Morning polycounters :) Been needing to do a lot of quick edits on somewhat high res meshes and i'm doing them with soft selection. I've never paid attention to it before but is there a way for the gizmo to remain locked to the original vertex/face/edge that's selected and not the average of the soft selection radius? Not…
I sculpted my character -90 degrees rotated. Is there a way to use transpose at all sub tools at once I know you can merge visible and do it but the polycount while get to high to handle for my PC. Edit: posted this under 3D art showcase... Anyone know how to change it to technical talk?

Hi everyone! I'm taking a college course on 3d modeling and we were assigned to model a weapon. I believe the concept from this weapon comes from the Unreal Tournament 4 art forums. It's my first time posting on Polycount but I would really appreciate any feedback/critiques. Concept: High Poly:

Hey Polycount! I finally got sick of my awful, cluttered, amature-looking website, so I did a major re-vamp. I was going for a much more simple and streamlined look, and I think that idea is a good kind of website for a 3D artist. Does anyone have any critiques, or different opinions? www.taylorpelto.com
