Yeah its the same mesh. I exported as .fbx, .obj, .dae and none have worked so far :| Just will not create a resources folder for me, Can get it in the 3d view no problem.. ETA: Version 4.1.1
I remember this being an issue with the OBJ exporter in 3dsmax. It wasn't writing the vert index table for UV's correctly. Kevin Burgess explains the problem pretty well and how to fix it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQHOIh5VuzE
Silo ---- .sia - scene .sib - scene .obj .3ds - objects Not sure what the difference is between SIA and SIB, might be ascii and binary, or it might just be the difference between the beta format and the actual final scene format.
Actually I think that "Smoothteddy" is a much better 3d app for kids. It's Java based, works in a browser window, and exports to OBJ format, textured and painted. Very simple drawing based interface. and VERY intuitive. Scott

Hello, I import my file in Substance painter, but its always shown like this: I tried importing multiple different files (OBJs, FBXs...) and every time the same thing. How to fix this? It says that it does not recognize my GPU, could that be it?
Hi, I've got a problem with an obj. file I've imported into 3ds max. Not all of my opacity maps are displaying correctly. I've checked normals and stuff but I can't seem to get these planes normal like the rest of them. Any ideas? Rendered:
