Made some more progress and did a quick pass on the textures for the robot. Still using "place holder" lighting and textures for the other props. Once I am done with a first past on everything, will come back around and add some wear and tear to the robot.

Hey folks, I've lurked here for some time but haven't felt very confident showing anything off... until now! I recently finished a reel of some of my work this year, specifically two of my favorite models. Here's a link to my video on YouTube. A few pics from the video: And lastly, a link to both my alien and robot…
Hey guys, Looking for some initial feedback on a small project I'm starting for February. It's a low poly game project for One Game a Month (either for UDK or Unity) in the style of a DS game. So far I've begun modeling the main character, an alien robot, who crash lands in an area infested with zombie vegetables and…
Update with just diffuse texture on robot: @Aeseeberg04 I appreciate the thread link, there's some good info in there. It's also always interesting to see other artist's take on a concept. I'm sure you guys dont care about the introductions so... the plan is to build a robot in a vaguely 1930-50's style with the end goal of having him 3D Printed with these guys www.protodemon.com On that note im sure you guys don't just want me to talk about what I'm doing so here are some thumbnails I did a few nights ago…
Hi Polycount, I'm having issues with trying to rig a robotic arm. I want to stop any sort of rotations on the X and Z axis but I seem to be having no luck. I've setup a simple HI solver and tried snapping the bones to dummies so that they match the picot point of the arm chunks. I've also tried playing around with locking…
