Heys everyone trying to lean how to fix issues with baking before i texture. this. I retopod in Maya and Uved in maya if that means anything here. And are "Baking by name" i was wondering why these weird artifacts are appearing on my mesh in some places? anyone know what might be causing them. Thanks :)
Not sure what happened considering the project has been going smoothly until now but suddenly all of my geo is rendering black in OpenGL. It looks fine in IRay though, can somebody help me resolve this issue? I've reset just about every option possible in 3D view with no luck.
Heya, Currently i have 3 different meshes (gums,teeth,tongue) which i have started to texture already. Is it possible to add my head model into the same project? I cannot seem to find a way except making a new project and importing all 4 meshes, and then retexturing...... Cheers!
I've imported a resource into Designer that I built in Photoshop to save some time. Simply put, I'm trying to tile that resource with equidistant spacing around it. I have noticed that material in Max is rendering still the same, no matter what shader I choose inside SP. I even checked export shader parameters upon exporting textures from SP, but it seems it has no effect on max vray. I got almost the same result using different shaders, so it seems there needs to be something checked…
The way I'd do it is by using the material workflow. here's a simple example: Substance already comes with a pre-made material node called "fabric009" that you can use with the "material blend" nodes and a few adjustments to make any pattern you want.
This hasnt been a problem until now, but some models ive created I cant paint on some materials and can only use a fill layer which then procedes to make it look like something that was made in 1992, what is going on here?
