Hey there, I'm currently on my 15004th attempt at box modelling a head and the realization that I cannot 'get it' is starting to hit. I'm ok with the 'edge-extrude' point to point method of head modelling, but not only do I find this next to impossible without ref planes, it's slow. I would love to be able to just quickly…
Hey - I intend to unwrap my lowpoly head this way - but I'm not sure if it will create a normalmap seam along the edge? Can I just flip the mesh and uvs to one side, attach and bake? Or do I need to bake first and then flip mesh and uvs and attach? Thx for any input :)

Did this piece some time ago, based on a real bust as a way of practice. Did both a "render" version and a normal-mapped realtime version. It won't be changed, but I do appreciate any feedback about it :) Cheers
Hello, I would like to create a "heat lightning" effect in UDK (lightning that only goes from cloud to cloud with no sound). What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
