Hi guys! Beginner here. I was wondering if I could get some tips on sculpting likenesses. I attempt to sculpt busts from photo references but I have difficulty on getting them to look like the person I'm sculpting. It'd really help if you guys can point me in the right direction. Thanks! :)
A few weeks ago, My workstation went down. While waiting for repairs, I decided to work on some concepts and other traditional work. I had this idea for a scene for about a year now, and it seemed like the perfect time for a scupt! Basic Idea: Old "Ant Farmer" with his faithful pet slug, "Fluffy" Concept Sketching...…
Here's a tool I made for making tiling scults: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1482056/TexturePlane.ZTL Two subtools - a flat plane used to frame the document, then the actual sculpting plane. Your brushes will need to be set to WrapMode 2 in order for it to tile.

The 'anatomically favoured' way where the arms extrude out from under the deltoid or the 'bendy straw' method. I know it's a debated topic in terms of animation deformation but I…
Hi! i'm having a go at this character concept done by a friend of mine, I'm trying to do a full character in a sculpting workflow. I've finished the block out up until now and I wanted a second opinion on it before I head to the next step. Any feedback is welcome!
Hello. I'm still somewhat of a beginner with sculpting. I was wondering what the best approach to a sculpt is when crating clothes or armor? The way I approached this was duplicating the base model and working on the copy. I sculpted on the base body layer. Was this a wise choice or should I have made the separate pieces…
